WASHINGTON, DC -- Jill Stein, the Green Party's 2012 presidential nominee, will be available to speak to reporters on Saturday evening, Feb. 16, and on Sunday, Feb. 17 before and during the #ForwardOnClimate Rally on the Mall (http://350.org/en/stop-keystone-xl).

The Green Party has endorsed the rally to protest President Obama's failure to reject the Keystone XL and Enbridge pipelines, which would carry tar-sands oil from Canada to refineries and ports in the U.S., and to urge the President to take real action against global climate disruption. The Green Party continues to call for a Green New Deal to put Americans back to work by investing in clean, renewable energy.
