Vote Now & Occupy the White House!

Presidential Candidate Forum

Saturday evening, Rose Aguilar of KALW moderated a forum of the two leading candidates for the Green Party's presidential nomination in San Francisco.  Roseanne Barr & Jill Stein each presented themselves in a respectful manner uncommon in today's political atmosphere, promoting a variety of political solutions rooted in the Green Party's Ten Key Values.  The nearly 2 hour forum can be viewed online at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WGLi5_i0xQ.

New York Presidential Convention

Then, after watching the forum and deciding who you think will best represent the Party in this year's presidential election, make sure to fill out your presidential preference ballot.  The Green Party of New York State did not have its own primary this year, but will instead be hosting a nominating convention in Troy this Saturday, May 19th.  All enrolled Greens are eligible to attend and vote, with an option to send in your ballot if you are unable to attend.  For further details, see the state Party's website: http://www.web.gpnys.com/?p=11762.  If you're interested in going to Troy, please send a message to peaceandrainbows@riseup.net.
