GreenLine 10 - Dr. Pauline Lipman and the Neoliberal Attack on Education

On November 9, 2010, Dr. Pauline Lipman from the University of Illinois-Chicago, gave a talk entitled "The Assault on Public Education: What’s Behind it and How Do We Respond?"at School Without Walls.  Dr. Lipman's upcoming book is called, The New Political Economy of Urban Education: Neoliberalism, Race, and the Right to the City.  The talk was sponsored by the Coalition for Common Sense in Education and the Warner School of Education at the University of Rochester.
Next week's show will feature the panel of local education stakeholders and public Q&A that happened after Dr. Lipman's talk.
