What We Didn't Hear in the Debates

American Voters watched a series of presidential debates in recent weeks, however, the debates excluded most of the candidates that will appear on November's ballot.

The Green Party's Cynthia McKinney plans for an immediate withdraw of US Troops from both Iraq and Afghanistan, initiating marriage equality, putting an end to warrant-less wiretapping and the unconstitutional P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act, repealing No Child Left Behind, and instituting a Green New Deal to build our economy, create jobs and reduce our dependency on foreign oils.

Both Barack Obama and John McCain spoke of changing the failed policies of the Bush administration, while the former 6-term congresswoman from Georgia actually plans on reversing those polices. It is a shame and a sham that voters didn't get to hear Cynthia McKinney in the debates.

Co-Chair of the Green Party of the United States
