GPoMC Update - Marriage Victory! & Latino Caucus

Marriage Equality for New York!
The Green Party of Monroe County has advocated for same-sex marriage equality for years and is glad to see the New York State Senate pass the Marriage Equality Act this year. We recognize that the struggle for equality is not over and will continue to advocate for the legal rights and social acceptance of our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex citizens. The GPoMC will be marching in Rochester's Pride Parade on July 16th. Please consider joining us in celebration. http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=246278322064360

GPUS Latino Caucus Forming
Latino Greens are once again trying to bring together a Latino caucus. We feel that it is essential to have a Latino organized, accredited, and active in Green Party organizing and decision making. If you or someone you know might be interested in participating in a Latino Caucus please contact Anita Rios of Ohio (rhannon@toast.net) or Angel Torres of Arizona (aatorres29@hotmail.com).

See http://www.gp.org/caucuses/index.php for more information on existing identity caucuses of the Green Party of the United States.

For more frequent updates of GPoMC activity please follow us on Facebook or Twitter.
