Green Party Primary

You may have noticed that Tuesday is the Primary Day in New York. As
a political party without automatic ballot status in New York State
(something we can only earn by receiving 50,000 votes for Governor of
New York) the Green Party is bared from participating in the primary
election. Since you will not find a Green Party voting machine at
your polling site on Tuesday the Green Party will have to organize and
host our primary on our own. This also means we have to pay for it.

There are a couple of plans going around to mail a ballot to every
Green in Monroe County and every other county in New York State
sometime this spring. It's my guess that this will probably happen,
however, at the moment we do not have enough money to cover that
expense.

If you are willing to help pay for this expenses you can donate to:
Green Party of Monroe County
PO Box 40282
Rochester NY 14604
Write "primary" in the subject line.
Or you can donate online at www.GPoMC.org

You can find out about our candidates at www.GP.org

If you are interested in hosting an event, or house party for one of the candidates and would like some help, then please give us a call. You can also volunteer through any of the campaigns websites.
