| Please join us for the fourth bienniel New York Green Fest, Friday, August 5 to Sunday, August 7, 2011. We look forward to your participation. We will be returning to the beautiful campus of Alfred University in Alfred, NY and will be joined by Greens from across the country and Canada coming to the 2011 Green Annual National Meeting (ANM), which is being held in conjunction with Green Fest in Alfred this year. One of the highlights of our program will be a series of workshops on hydro-fracking, nuclear power, energy reduction and the political challenges we face in changing energy sources. We encourage each of the wonderful presenters, musical performers and exhibitors who participated in past Green Fests to join us again this year, and we welcome new ones. Our panels, performances and workshops enable the Green community to grow and pass on vital knowledge and skills.Click on the links to the right for presenter and exhibitor information. Registration for the weekend is $45, $20 teen/youth, children under 12 free. There is no extra charge for exhibiting. Dorm rooms, camping and the Saxon Inn are available for lodging on campus at reasonable cost. Local campgrounds and bed and breakfasts are also available. Meals prepared from locally-grown food will be served at the Alfred University dining hall beginning Thursday evening, August 4, 2011.The cost of these delicious meals is even less than in 2009.
